In 2022, I underwent rotator cuff surgery. At the time, I was also navigating menopause and was not exercising regularly. The first photo was taken about six months after my recovery, when I weighed approximately 155 pounds.

In 2023, I began hormone replacement therapy and started exercising, but my efforts were inconsistent. By 2024, my hormones were finally balanced, yet I was still struggling to lose the weight.

Working with Lisa completely changed my perspective on nutrition and fitness. She taught me that food is fuel. Initially, I was afraid that eating more would lead to weight gain, but Lisa created a personalized nutrition plan that focused on consistently fueling my body with three meals a day and healthy snacks.

I also committed to a structured workout program with Lisa three times per week, including upper body and core training, lower body and core training, and cardio with core work.

After just six months, I had lost nearly 25 pounds. More importantly, I feel stronger, healthier, and more energized than ever before. I’m no longer constantly thinking about food or feeling hungry, and I’ve gained confidence in my ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am incredibly grateful for Lisa’s guidance, support, and expertise throughout this journey.

I’m in my early 60’s, a female, have been involved in sports since childhood and currently enjoys playing pickleball.  In the past, I’ve done plyometric fitness classes offered through my gym but this stopped several years ago as the trainer moved on.  I didn’t think I’ve work with another trainer until I met Lisa Rollo playing pickleball.  Working with Lisa has been fantastic as I wanted to improve my strength, balance, and overall fitness.  Since starting, its been great to be on a regular work out schedule and allowing me to reprioritize my health again. Its always easier to have someone tell you what to do, push you, and keep you focus and honest than working out alone (by yourself, don't tend to push yourself very hard, at least I don't).  
 
I had goals in mind before starting with her and she appropriately designed a program that challenges me in a safe and effective manner.  After 2 month, 3 times a week, the workouts have made a massive difference in how I feel and I'm stronger and more balance and its helped my pickleball game.

Working with Lisa Rollo has been one of the best investments I've made for my health and fitness. I have trained with Lisa for the past 4 months, working out 3 times a week for an hour each session. In that time, I lost 17 pounds while gaining muscle, which helped me feel strong, energized, and confident throughout the entire process. Rather than simply focusing on the number on the scale, Lisa created a balanced program that emphasized strength, mobility, and overall wellness. Lisa instilled in me the concept that “food is fuel”, the goal was not to eat less food, it was to eat the right food to fuel my body to burned fat while building muscle and strength.


One of my goals was to improve my endurance for hiking, and the results have been incredible. I can now tackle longer and more challenging hikes with significantly morestamina and less fatigue. Lisa has also worked with weakness and instability in my ankles and incorporated targeted exercises to strengthen them. As a result, my balance has improved dramatically, giving me greater confidence on uneven trails. The training benefits have also carried over to my pickleball game. The strength, agility, and balance training have made me noticeably quicker to the ball, allowing me to reach shots I would have previously missed. My side-to-side movement is much more stable and controlled, helping me stay balanced during fast exchanges and react more confidently on the court. I've seen a real improvement in both my performance and endurance during matches.

Lisa genuinely cares about my success and knows how to build a program that delivers real, sustainable results.
